Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Gugab (“we”, “us”) to create and send quotes. Gugab is provided by SHOVVA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17223729, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. 1. Your account

You need an account to use the app. You must give accurate details, keep your password safe and be at least 18. You’re responsible for everything done in your account. If you use Gugab for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. What we provide

Gugab lets you create quotes, send them by email or link, and let your customers accept them and pay deposits online. We may improve or change features over time. We’ll tell you before removing anything important from a paid plan.

3. Your quotes and your customers

You’re responsible for the content of your quotes, your prices, your terms with your customers, and for meeting the laws that apply to your business, including consumer, tax and data protection law. The contract for the work is between you and your customer; we are not a party to it.

When you add your customers’ details, you are the controller of that personal data and we process it on your behalf, as described in our privacy policy and data processing terms in section 9.

4. Plans and billing

The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe (monthly, or yearly where we offer it) and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings, Plan & billing. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

5. Online deposits

To take deposits online you connect your own Stripe account and agree to Stripe’s terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Payments go to your Stripe account. We charge a fee on each online deposit as shown on our pricing page, collected automatically by Stripe. Stripe’s processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and disputes are handled in your Stripe account and are your responsibility. If you refund a payment, our fee on that payment is not returned.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use Gugab for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, to send spam, to impersonate anyone, or to interfere with the service or other users. We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put others at risk.

7. Your data and leaving

Your quotes, customers and price list are yours. You can download them or delete your account at any time from the app. If you delete your account, your data is removed and customer links stop working.

8. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Gugab running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

9. Data processing

When we process personal data for you, we do so only on your instructions to provide the service, keep it confidential and secure, use the sub-processors listed in our privacy policy, help you respond to requests from individuals, tell you without undue delay about a personal data breach, and delete or return the data when you close your account.

10. Ending these terms

You can stop using Gugab and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in advance by email or in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
